Salt Alarm
The salt alarm Artemis Systems gives you a signal when the salt basin should be filled with salt.

The Salt Guard is a wireless alarm which is battery operated specially designed for household water softeners. The transmitter is connected to a plastic cable that can be adjusted in all lengths and is connected to a weight that is the salt. If weight tightens the cable it is because the salt container is empty,then a signal is sent to the recipient. The reciepient is equipped with a magnet and can, placed for example on the fridge so it will always hang in a visible location. The recipient will give a light signal.

The Salt Guard has a built-in delay on the signal. This means that the indicator will not come on directly when your salt level is low. This will only happen after 30 minutes.

If you want to test whether your Salt Guard system is working, please perform the following steps:
· Place the salt alarm the lid of the softener in a horizontal position.
· Press the RESET button on the receiver and release the button.
· Position the transmitter immediately thereafter - within 4 to 5 seconds - vertically.
· The light will blink every 3 seconds.

This means that your system works.

You can use the light to stop flashing the alarm some salt on the lid is by positioning the alarm in horizontal position and pressing the "RESET" button on your indicator.

If you wait more than 4 or 5 seconds the light on your receiver will stop flashing.If you will you still want to test the system to perform the above steps again.
